Look at the example of a student's analysis of the opening sequence of a film.

In order to achieve a Level 4 for your Research and Planning you need to produce excellent research into similar media products. This research needs to be detailed, relevant to your coursework production, analytical rather than descriptive (what effect do technical aspects such as camerawork and sound have?), linked to dicussion of conventions and target audience.

Do you think the student has done this in the analysis of 'The Dark Knight'? Is there any way the analysis could be improved?
