Editing Techniques
Watch one of the Adobe Premiere Elements 13 video tutorials on a relevant topics, and make notes on how to use this editing software. Summarise your findings and post in on the Production Skills page of your blog. Video tutorials can be found when you open Adobe Premiere Elements video editor, and select the Guided options. A2 Media Summer Task - Production Concept
Over the Summer you need to begin developing ideas for your main task production. In order to do this you should first come up with a range of potential ideas for your product.
For the Music Video Brief you should consider which song you may use for your main task production and begin to develop possible ideas for the content of the music video.
For the Film Trailer Brief you should consider possible storylines for your film, and key events which you may use in your trailer.
For both briefs you should begin to develop ideas for possible settings, use of props, costume, lighting, make up, camerawork, and sound.
Your work should include some detailed written explanation of your ideas, and visual and/or video/audio elements.
This work should be completed and uploaded to the Planning page of your blog by the beginning of term in September (Thursday 4th of September).
Remember all the Research tasks listed in the post below must also be completed.

Homework - Institution Research
Identify a media institution which would produce and distribute your product (film studio, record label). Complete research into your chosen institution. You should find out about the ownership of the company - is it a subsidiary? If so who is the parent company? What other subsidiaries are owned by the parent company? What similar products has the institution produced?

Film Trailer Brief - analyse a film trailer, poster, and other promotional materials (e.g. magazine covers, websites, etc.).
