Read through the assessment criteria for the print brief and identify what you need to do to achieve a Level 4 (A grade).
Look at the examples of Level 4 magazines and note down what the students have done well, and why you think they have achieved a Level 4. Is there anything the students could have done to improve?
Look at your planning for your magazine. Do you think you will be able to achieve a Level 4 for your proposed magazine? Think particularly about your ideas for photography - are you going to use a range of shot types? Are the photographs going to be relevant? Have you thought about your use of mise-en-scene? Think about your ideas for your magazine - is the language and mode of address suited to the genre and target audience? Does your layout follow convention? Are you going to use a range of suitable fonts?
